“I believe in treating the whole person. Facial rejuvenation has ancient roots and is an exciting aspect of modern holistic healthcare.”-Dr. Lacey Smith
Micro needles stimulate facial muscles, and subcutaneous needles fill deep lines to decrease their appearance. Targeted cupping creates blood flow and can restore elasticity for a more youthful and glowing appearance. LED lamps provide anti-aging therapy as you rest comfortably with the acupuncture needles. Korean skincare and Chinese herbal masks moisturize and provide nutrients for soft skin. Acupuncture needle dermal rollers are recommended for home care between treatments.
Each one-hour session will address a range of patient concerns including areas of lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, dry or rough skin, and other signs of advanced aging.
Facial rejuvenation is available in 5, 10, 15, & 20 visit packages. Studies show positive results when more than 5 treatments are given in close succession (more sessions more often, while maintaining the at home care instructions, creates better results). Each treatment plan is created for the individual, using traditional Chinese medicine theory and diagnosis. As with any cosmetic procedure, results vary, and at home care is essential.
Packages of 10 or more are discounted. Gift certificates are available. One package may not be used by more than one individual.
Cautions & Exemptions
Facial rejuvenation/ cosmetic acupuncture procedures should not be used by persons with chronic or recurring migraine headaches, chronic or recurring bacterial or skin infections, severe anxiety, or insomnia. If you are pregnant or have high blood pressure, you cannot receive treatment. If your high blood pressure is currently under control through the use of medication or blood thinning supplements, or you regularly take aspirin or caffeine, the risk of bleeding and bruising increases.
Some bleeding and bruising may occur for any person using acupuncture.
Facial rejuvenation is a process of stimulating the facial muscle groups and restoring resting mimetic muscle tone and elasticity through the insertion of acupuncture needles. Studies have shown significant improvement after treatment, and favorable results as a therapy for facial elasticity.* It can eliminate some wrinkles and decrease the length and depth of others.**
