Dr. Lacey Smith, DACM, L.Ac/AEMP
Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
Education and Qualification: Dr. Lacey Smith (she/her) earned a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, as well as a master's of science in traditional oriental medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (Pacific College of Health & Science) in San Diego, California. She is a licensed acupuncturist and primary care provider in California, and a licensed Acupuncturist and Eastern Medicine practitioner in Washington State. Dr. Smith trained at the Hospital of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, China, and received a certificate of advance acupuncture training from the International School of Acupuncture in Beijing, China. She is a national diplomate (Dipl. O.M.) of acupuncture and Chinese herbology of the NCCAOM. Dr. Smith studied feng shui at International Feng Shui School in San Diego and is a feng shui master, practicing a mixture of flying stars, intuitive, modern, and traditional feng shui. She completed acupuncture residencies at UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas CA, and at the Family Recovery Center in Oceanside, CA. Her doctoral work focused on mental health, and seasonal affective disorder. She specializes in cosmetic acupuncture, plant-based medicine, and mood support/ seasonal balance.
LIfestyle: Dr. Lacey Smith lives and works in South Seattle. She is an advocate for rescue animals and enjoys the company of her two rescue pups. When she's not at PNW Acupuncture, she loves tending to her houseplants, traveling with her spouse, cooking plant-based meals, and frequenting local vegan restaurants.
